MSU student dies in car accident

A Minnesota State student who was preparing to transfer to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls died last week from injuries received in a May 21 car accident.
Tyler Bunne, 20, was one of five people involved in an early-morning one-car accident after the driver of the vehicle lost control and crashed into a tree near LeRoy, Minn. He died at Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester.
The other four passengers - ranging in age from 19 to 21 - all suffered injuries but all but one have been released from the hospital.
Bunne was a 2006 graduate of LeRoy-Ostrander High School who served as the salutatorian of his class and repeatedly made the Dean's List at MSU.
According to the Austin Post Bulletin, Bunne was going to transfer to Wisconsin-River Falls to study agronomy.
The crash is still under investigation by authorities.
